Human beings are the happiest creatures on this earth. He and She have the highest intelligence of all life-forms and possesses a wealth of scientific gadgetry to make his and her life simple, easy and pleasurable that is jet planes, comfortable cars, HDTVS, internet mobile phones and so much more.
Sometimes a human being can become so happy he or she even commits suicide. No other creature has been known to do this.Amongst the happiest people in the world,as you probably know, are the Americans. America has one of the highest number of suicides- about 560 per week -a total of 30,000 per year. The Japanese follow closely behind with 26,000 suicides per year and other are followed in turn by the French and Germans who have nearly 13,000 suicides per year.
That's not all. Sometimes, man's happiness turns to ecstasy and he commits murder. the despotic rulers of the past were far more terrifying .Hilter ,for example ,ordered the extermination of all jews in Germany: approximately 6 million were gassed, buried alive or shot at his whim. and Mao (Zedong) tse-tung, leader of the Chinese government between 1949 to 1965 was even more cruel than Hitler. He ordered the massacre of 26.3 million of his own countrymen.
And how can we forget the Russians? Vladimir Lenin,Joseph Stalin and Nikita Khruschchev were bent on making other joyful. Under their regime from 1917 to 1959,they ordered the slaughter of 66.7 million of their fellow men.
Though in the year 2018, man is not happy as he used to be , there are still many points;everyday , all over the world there are millions of racial attacks, burglaries, thefts and assaults. Thousands are being killed in wars, terrorists attacks and family feuds.Millions of Parents live in old people's homes and million of children live in orphanages because neither care a dime for each other.
So that Man is not an Happy animal. He is probably the most wretched and miserable of all God's creatures. If he was happy and satisfied , he would never take his own or somebody else's life.Nor would he be jealous of others or compete with the people next door and his greed for more and more wealth, prestige and power would sublimate into thoughts of philanthropy and altruism.
